This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how AJB AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. (“us”, “we”, “our”) uses and protects the data you provide to us when you visit, use, or register on https://arthajobboard.com/ (the “website/app” or “service”).

We may update this Policy periodically and will notify you of significant changes. Please check this page for updates.

We value your privacy and your trust. This Policy describes how we treat user information we collect on https://arthajobboard.com/ and applies to current and former visitors and online users. By visiting or using our website/app, you agree to this Policy.

https://arthajobboard.com/ is a property of AJB AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U62013GJ2025PTC160239), an Indian company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at First Floor, Plot No. B/45-46, Ram Krushna Co-operative Society, Nr. Ram Krushna School, I.H. Road, Surat, Gujarat 395006, India.

Job boards built on our platform. Artha Job Board lets organizations launch their own job boards. For personal information that job seekers submit to a job board run by one of our customers, the customer decides why and how it is used, and we process it on the customer’s behalf as a service provider. Please read that job board’s own privacy policy, and send requests about that data to the job board owner. 

This Policy does not apply to third-party applications or software that can be accessed from the website/app, such as external applicant tracking systems, social media websites, or partner websites (“Third Party Services”).

Information We Collect

1. Contact information: We may collect your name, email, age, mobile number, street, city, state, pin code, country, and IP address, as well as other relevant records if needed.
2. Demographic information: We may collect demographic information about you, or other information you provide while using our website/app, including through surveys.
3. Other information: When you use our website/app, we may collect your IP address, location, and browser. We may look at the site you came from, the time spent on our website/app, the pages accessed, and the site you visit when you leave us.
4. Professional details: Resume/CV, job preferences, employer details, and skills.
5. Device information: When using the web or mobile apps, we may request access to your device’s camera and photo storage so you can take and upload pictures. We use this access only in ways you choose, and you can revoke it at any time at the device level. We use analytics software to understand how our mobile apps work on your phone. It may record how often you use the app, events within the app, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the app was downloaded from. We do not link the information stored in the analytics software to any personal information you submit within the apps. When you download and use the mobile apps, we automatically collect device information such as operating system version, device type, and hardware usage statistics.
6. Information from third parties: We may collect information about you from third-party sources, such as social media platforms when you use social login features, and publicly available information such as LinkedIn profiles.

How We Collect Information

1. Directly from you: when you register on our website/app, post a comment, or ask us a question by phone or email.
2. Passively: we use tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, browser cookies, and web beacons to understand how you use our website/app.
3. From third parties: for example, if you use an integrated social media feature, the social media site gives us certain information such as your name and email address.

How We Use Your Information

1. Communication: to contact you about our services and to understand your purpose for visiting our website/app.
2. Requests and questions: to respond to you and to confirm your registration for online activity, webinars, or workshops.
3. Improving our products and services: to customize your experience, such as showing content based on your preferences, and for data analysis.
4. Site trends and customer interests: to improve our website/app and services. We may combine information you give us with information we get from third parties.
5. Security: to protect our company, our customers, and our website/app.
6. Marketing: to tell you about promotions, offers, new features, or services, including third-party offers we think you may find interesting. Third-party offers are sent by us; we do not give your personal information to those third parties.
7. Updates: to send you emails or SMS about our latest updates.
8. Legal and compliance: to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms of service, and protect our rights.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

1. Service providers acting on our behalf. We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our platform. They may use it only to provide services to us. They include:

• Email and messaging providers (Customer.io, Google Workspace) for communication delivery.
• Cloud hosting and database providers (Microsoft Azure, MongoDB) for website and application management.
• Analytics providers (Google Analytics, PostHog) to understand how our website/app is used.
• Business tools (Apollo.io, ClickUp, Scrut Automation) for contact data, task management, and security compliance.

1. Legal disclosures. We share information to respond to a court order or subpoena, if a government agency or investigatory body requests it, or when we are investigating potential fraud.
2. Business transfers. If there is a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
3. Employers and recruiters. When you apply for a job, we send your application, resume, and profile to that employer at your direction. This is not a sale. In the preceding 12 months we have not sold personal information to employers or recruiters. If we do so in the future, it will be as described in the section “Sale and Sharing of Personal Information” below, and you can opt out at any time.

Third-Party Sites and Our Sub-Processors

If you click a link to a third-party website or app, you may be taken to a site we do not control. This Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of that site, so please read its privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

We engage individuals and entities (“Sub-Processors”) to perform certain tasks on our behalf and under our control, such as sending emails and offering customer support. To deliver our services, we may share personal information with them. Unless specified otherwise, Sub-Processors may not use the personal information we share beyond what is necessary to assist us. Transfers to subsequent third parties are governed by onward transfer agreements between AJB AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. and each Sub-Processor.

Your Rights

• Access and update: You can access and update your personal information through your account settings.
• Data deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing legal@arthajobboard.com.

California Residents: Your Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information. AJB AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. honors these rights.

• The right to know. You have the right to know about the personal information we collect about you and how it is used and shared, as outlined in this Policy. You may also request the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
• The right to delete. You have the right to request that AJB AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. delete your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. When we receive a verified request, we delete your personal information from our systems and direct our service providers, and any third parties who received it, to delete it as well.
• The right to correct. You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• The right to opt out. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• The right to non-discrimination. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights.

Categories of personal information we collected in the preceding 12 months: identifiers; customer records information (name, address, phone); characteristics (age); professional and employment information; internet and device activity; and approximate location. We collect them directly from you, automatically from your device, and from third parties such as social login providers and public LinkedIn profiles. We use them for the purposes listed under “How We Use Your Information”. We disclose them for business purposes to the service providers listed in our sub-processor table, and to employers and recruiters at your direction when you apply for a job.

How to submit a request. Email legal@arthajobboard.com. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may extend this once by 45 days with notice to you. We will verify your identity before acting on a request to know, delete, or correct. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission. We keep records of requests for 24 months.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

In the preceding 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information. In the future we may sell the following categories of personal information to employers and recruiters: identifiers (name, email address, phone number); professional and employment information (resume or CV, skills, job preferences, employer details); and location (city, state, country). We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How to opt out. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time by emailing legal@arthajobboard.com.

We act on opt-out requests within 15 business days. We will not sell the personal information of a consumer who has opted out, and we will instruct third parties who received that information to stop selling or sharing it. When you apply to a job, we still send your application to that employer at your direction. This is not a sale, and opting out does not block it.

Children Under 16

We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Our services are intended for users 18 and older. If you believe a child under 16 has given us personal information, email legal@arthajobboard.com and we will delete it.

Data Security and Data Retention

1. Security is very important to us. We maintain physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your information, including personal information, from unauthorized or inappropriate access.

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the services you requested, and afterward for legal and service purposes, such as legal, contractual, or similar obligations; resolving, preserving, enforcing, or defending our legal and contractual rights; and keeping accurate business and financial records. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that someone will not overcome our security measures. Nothing in this Policy waives or limits any right you have under applicable law.

To stop receiving our promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email footer or email support@arthajobboard.com. We process requests within 10 business days. We will still send you transactional messages.
